SCC release 8 launch
The latest major release of SCC will take place at the World of Geomatic exhibition in Stoneleigh, in the UK on March 29th of this month. Release 8 is Windows Vista compatible and adds numerous new facilities to this already feature rich solution. These include an enhanced 3d viewer with an extensive library of common 3d objects and road markings, support for placement and draping of aerial photography, automated creation of canopy lines from groups of trees, and support for skewed cross sections, to name but a few. All of this functionality is documented both in the on-line help and the new printed user guide and reference manuals. This release will be shipped to all of our users with active maintenance contracts in early April.
